These SMS Terms and Conditions apply to text messages sent by or on behalf of iPermit USA (“iPermit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from iPermit, you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions.

Program Description

The iPermit SMS Program provides service-related text messages regarding iPermit services, which may include permit expediting, final inspections, HERS testing, iPermit Pro portal activity, appointment scheduling, service coordination, job status updates, document notifications, customer support, and other service-related communications.

Messages may be sent to contractors, customers, homeowners, authorized contacts, or other individuals involved in permit, inspection, testing, scheduling, or service completion.

Opt-In Consent

You may opt in to receive SMS/text messages from iPermit by providing your mobile phone number through one or more of the following methods:

Submitting a form on an iPermit website or portal.
Creating or updating an account in iPermit Pro or a related service platform.
Requesting permit, inspection, HERS testing, scheduling, or customer support services.
Providing your mobile number to iPermit by phone, email, web form, or other communication method.
Checking a consent box, signing a service form, or otherwise confirming that you agree to receive text messages from iPermit.
Verbally requesting SMS/text messages during a phone call or automated outreach call with iPermit or an authorized iPermit representative. Verbal opt-in requests are recorded, logged, and a confirmation SMS is sent to the number on file to complete enrollment.

By opting in, you authorize iPermit to send text messages to the mobile phone number you provided. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your service requests, account activity, job status, appointment scheduling, and customer support needs.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. iPermit does not charge a separate fee for sending SMS/text messages.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving SMS/text messages from iPermit at any time by replying any of the following keywords to any text message from us:
STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT
After you send any of these keywords, we will send one final confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS/text messages from that program unless you opt in again.

Supported Carriers

Message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers that help us deliver and support our messaging services.

By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive text messages at that number.

Changes to SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued participation in the iPermit SMS Program after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
